Burglars are striking up and down the Valley, taking thousands of dollars from several homes.

In Augusta County, deputies say someone stole a safe filled with $10,000 from the Mint Spring Apartments. The safe went missing over the weekend. This is the same complex where a burglar stole $30,000 from an apartment three months ago.

Shenandoah County Sheriff's Deputies are reporting a burglary on Coal Mine Road in Strasburg. They say someone broke into a home on Sunday night and stole jewelry, electronics and guns, worth more than $2,500.

Staunton Police are also reporting a burglary. Police say someone broke through the front door of a home on Clemmer Lane Monday morning. Once inside, police say the burglar stole a flat-screen TV and some coins.

Staunton Police are also reporting a handful of broken laws from a single incident on Stafford Street. Police say someone tried to buy drugs there on January 15, but was attacked by several men, who stole the victim's cell phone. Then police say the victim hit another car while speeding away. No arrests have been made.

Both Wal-Mart stores in the Harrisonburg area are reporting similar cases of shoplifting. Investigators say, in both cases, a suspect cut open boxes of cameras from the shelf and stole them sometime last week. The boxes were not protected by a locked case.

Waynesboro Police report that the glass door at Waynesboro Self Service Laundry was shattered Tuesday night. Nothing was stolen.

If you have any information about these cases, please call your local police department or sheriff's office.
