Congress appears poised to postpone the transition to all-digital TV until June.
Analysts say more than 6.5 million households are not ready for the February 17 deadline for broadcasters to switch from analog to digital signals.
The Obama administration is seeking a delay to give the government more time to fix a subsidy program that has run out of money for coupons that help consumers pay for digital converter boxes for older TVs.
Senate Democrats have reached a deal with skeptical Republicans on a bill to push the digital transition to June 12. A vote could come early next week. The House is likely to move quickly after that.
But critics warn a delay could confuse TV viewers and could be expensive for broadcasters. Also, they say it could burden public safety agencies and wireless companies waiting for the additional airwaves.

tsk, tsk JBC.....you just need to sit back and enjoy the misspelling and stumbles on Ch3. Just enjoy the comedy LOL
There is going to be so many people that will not be able to get your station. I feel for the older people in the area that don't have satelite dishes. They will be without tv!! The older people (retired and over 65) are on a fixed income and can't afford satelites and cable isen't offered so they will be the people that will be losing tv forever. This won't be an issue to cable or satelite viewers. The people it will be hurting the most is the older people, the local businesses and your tv station!!!
