Recent Area Robberies Show Similarities
Just four days after a BB&T bank was robbed in the Valley, another BB&T branch was robbed Tuesday near Charlottesville.

Just four days after a BB&T bank was robbed in the Valley, another BB&T branch was robbed Tuesday near Charlottesville.
Authorities say the robber showed a gun to a bank teller in Palmyra Tuesday morning. Witnesses say they saw the man leave on foot and the bank has released surveillance images of the suspect.
Investigators say the robbery sounds and looks similar to the one last week in Greenville.
Fluvanna County deputies say they also noticed similarities in the cases but are not ready to link them definitively.
Augusta County deputies say they are aware of the Palmyra robbery but have not made any firm connections.
