3 Cyclists Hit by Car on Rt. 33 East

The cyclist brought to University of Virginia Medical Center is now in good condition.

Three bicyclists are injured after a car apparently hit them on Route 33 East near Spotswood High School.

Virginia State Police say one of the cyclists is in serious condition and has been flown to University of Virginia Medical Center. The other two were taken to Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

The driver is charged with reckless driving.

Virginia State Police says the driver was in the right lane and the cyclists were on the right side of the lane.
