Three days after her son was executed, the mother of Bobby Wayne Swisher is asking for your help. In the obituary section of the News Virginian, Blanch Swisher is asking for memorial donations.

Bobby Swisher's aunt told TV-3 that the family is appealing to the community to raise money for him to be buried. Swisher didn't have insurance, and his mother doesn't have enough money.

The aunt said the family did not want the state to simply bury Swisher in an unmarked grave.

They are asking all donations be sent to First Virginia Bank in Stuarts Draft. A memorial service is to be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Stuarts Draft chapel of Reynold's Funeral Service.
