The investigation continues into the pornography scandal surrounding Gill's Auto Repair in Staunton.
Staunton police arrested 39-year-old Wayne Gill of Stuarts Draft for allegedly paying an underage high school girl to perform sexual acts on him while he filmed it in a room in the store. Gill's brother is the owner of the shop.
Police say the investigation reveals that crimes like these, while uncommon, are considered prostitution. Staunton Officer Lisa Klein says it's a different type of prostitution that you usually find in larger cities.
She adds, "Anytime you have prostitution, it's a problem. But we don't have that kind of regular street walking the way people think of it. The most common type of prostitution we have in Staunton is people trading sex for drugs."
Gill faces charges of child pornography and solicitation of prostitution. The 17-year-old girl involved in the scandal will not be charged.

I also know Wayne Gill and have known him for 20 years. They say that he had a video room in the back of the shop. Well it was a security video room, and yes there may have been some porn in there but as I see it I would have rather seen it there at the garage than in the house with his minor daughter. As long as I have known him he has helped so many people. People broke down on the road, friends that need a hand fixing cars or anything that they may need. He will give you the shirt right off his back. The 17 year old guy that was there is the only one that needs to be charged because he is the one that wanted to pay this girl for whatever she would do to him, and since he has already gotten a 15 year old girl pregnant, then he needs to be charged as for lack of another word her pimp! Say what you will about Wayne but the ones that do know him know better!!!!!!!!
to the prior posts: you think Gill is innocent because you know him. Why do you think this was done in the back of a garage? What does every interviewed neighbor always say about the serial killer they lived beside? Hm, always seemed like a nice fellow. People don't tell you their dirty secrets. You think the girl should be charged? Put yourself in her place. She is 17, raging hormones, confused and gullible as you are for believing that Staunton is Mayberry. If she is charged that would send a message to all underage abused to never report their offenders. You have to give to get the bigger offender. She can take up her cross with God, she doesn't need you to throw stones. I know the whole family and I am truly sorry for the humiliation they feel for this is their son. Lost and broken as he is, he is a son and a brother. Richmond and Page county are no different from Augusta or the smallest burg, town or village. Humans are sinners - imperfect and flawed. Give grace & pray daily.
I think that the girl should be charged for prostitution, as well as, drug use and intent to distribute. She has no credibility, and she has accused another man of doing the same thing a year or so ago. I think that Gill is innocent, I know him and he is not capable of such a lascivious act.
