Thieves around the Valley are targeting vehicles.

State Police report someone stole a Yamaha dirt bike from a home on Clover Hill Road in Dayton last week. It is worth $2,500.

Harrisonburg Police are reporting something very similar. They say a Kawasaki dirt bike was stolen from West Wolfe Street Monday night.

In Augusta County, a much larger vehicle was stolen. Deputies say a Nissan Pathfinder was taken from Twin Hill Road in Stuarts Draft Saturday night. The missing SUV is worth $10,000.

Augusta County deputies are also reporting a break-in at Mike's Tire & Auto in Crimora. Deputies say someone broke through the front door and took $1,060 worth of cigarettes and tobacco Saturday night.

Rockingham County deputies are also reporting a business break-in, but this time, the thieves were after alcohol. Deputies say 12 cans and six bottles of beer were stolen from Mac's Superette in Fulks Run Monday night. The glass door was broken.

Staunton Police are trying to find the thief who took nearly $3,000 from a safe. The money was taken from a home on Spring Hill Road last week.

If you have any information about these thieves, please call your local police department or sheriff's office.
