Missing Hiker Found Safe
Authorities say Kenneth Knight, who had gone missing along the Appalachian Trail, was found safe Saturday evening.

Authorities say Kenneth Knight, who had gone missing along the Appalachian Trail, was found safe Saturday evening.

Knight is visually impaired, but he is an experienced hiker, and he is also an editor for the magazine "Backpacking Light."

It's believed Knight went missing April 26, near the Blue Ridge Parkway at Punch Bowl Muntain.

Reports say he was found in good condition, but was still taken to the hospital.
