A man accused of robbing a bank in Waynesboro and leaving what he said was a bomb behind faced a judge Monday.

Police say Stuart Henry Veney entered the bank wearing a disguise on March 9. Evidence and tips from the community led to his arrest.

A judge decided there was enough evidence to send the case to the grand jury.

Veney is charged with entering a bank armed to commit larceny and threatening to bomb, both of which are felonies.
