A teenager from Dayton has been injured in a head-on crash with a tractor trailer.

State Police say the 17 year old, who is not being identified, crossed the center lane and slammed into a tractor trailer on Route 256 in Weyers Cave Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the teen has been transported to UVA Medical Center and the injuries are not life-threatening.

He was wearing his seat belt.
