Authorities say a body found in a wooded area of Frederick County was that of a 30- to 50-year-old Hispanic woman.
Captain John Heflin of the county sheriff's office says the death is being treated as a suspected homicide.
The body was found by a deer hunter Thursday morning on private
property near the Shenandoah County line. The autopsy was performed
yesterday at the state medical examiner's office in Fairfax.
According to Frederick County authorities, the woman had received injuries.
