A West Virginia coal and agriculture company says it has rights to The Greenbrier, a once posh playground for the wealthy and prominent.

But hotel giant Marriott International says that isn't necessarily so. It says it's had a contract to buy the fabled hotel for $130 million, the same month The Greenbrier's owners, CSX, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the resort.

The owner of Justice Family Group announced that his coal and agriculture company had acquired stock in Greenbrier Hotel Corporation, the resort's holding company. Jim Justice and the resort didn't provide details of the transaction in their joint announcement.

Marriott counters that it agreed to buy the resort. A spokeswoman says the company expects CSX to honor the deal.

So does Justice own the Greenbrier Hotel? If its a done deal is it a done deal,I think Mr Justice has the best interest of the Greenbrier and should have the control! But I guess we have to wait and see
