A road improvement project in Augusta County is off the table.
And one county supervisor says it could put your health at risk.
Route 636, also known as Goose Road, is a shortcut to Augusta medical Center.
The dirt road was scheduled to be paved, but it was one of the projects cut by VDOT.
Supervisor Tom Sikes says that is a cutback that will save lives.
"It needs to be done, It could save lives,” commented Sikes.
