Another suspicious fire is under investigation in Hinton, where a string of arsons has left residents on edge.

Assistant state fire marshal Scott Rodes told The Register-Herald that an abandoned trailer was destroyed by fire early Monday.

More than 20 suspicious fires have occurred in Hinton in the past 17 months. The fires have damaged homes, a church parsonage and garage.

Two men were arrested last week on charges of setting a vehicle on fire.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the other fires.
