Jahmaine Faqiri, Gregory Baker and Ricky Parrish, three men accused of being involved in the shooting death of Reginald "Shay" Nicholson, spent the morning in court Thursday.
The three are being tried together, even though they belong to rival gangs.
Thursday's court appearance was to hear discussion on a motion about whether or not other gang offenses the court has already heard relate to this case.
Both the defense and prosecution are in disagreement. Prosecutor Louis Nagy says they're still planning to go to trial June 24.

These three kids are not in a gang. It was a dumb fight and both sides lost, kids need to realize that no one wins like that... The gang stuff is nonsense, it will be proven in court, the shooter had no gang ties and why would these 3? Hburg Cops need to stop stero typing on young black males and let them have a fair trial!!!! All black males that hang out together are not in a gang together, come on now! Zach Turner is the killer not Faqiri, Baker, or Parrish. Sentece them and let them do there time and come back to the real world and do something postive.
