A man convicted for several armed robberies in the region will face even more prison time for an attempted robbery in Stuarts Draft.
Brian Eugene Brubaker pleaded guilty Monday for the attempted robbery of the Ladd Convenience Store.
Police say he walked into the store with a towel over his hand last June and demanded money.
The charge is a class four felony that carries a sentence of two to ten years in prison and a fine of up to $100,000.
Brubaker is scheduled to be sentenced on this charge at a later date.
He is already serving time for robberies in Harrisonburg, Staunton and Greene County.
