Jury selection is continuing for a second day at the bribery trial of former Rep. William Jefferson, D-Louisiana.

Jefferson represented parts of New Orleans until he lost his re-election bid last year.

Prosecutors allege that he received more than $400,000 in bribes and sought millions more in exchange for using his influence to broker business deals in Africa.

The jury pool at the federal courthouse in Alexandria, Virginia consists of nearly 100 people.
