A Warren County man appeared in court Monday for allegedly shooting at people near the Western Lane area of the Shenandoah Farms.

Forty-eight-year-old David A. Tipper of Front Royal was arrested Saturday following multiple reports of a person shooting at someone in the area.

He was originally charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of shooting into an occupied dwelling. No one in the home was injured in the incident.

In the Monday hearing, the charges against Tipper were reduced to two counts of attempted malicious wounding and one count of shooting into an occupied dwelling.

He is being held in the Warren County Jail without bond.
