A fire destroyed a mobile home in Grassy Creek LC in Harrisonburg shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday.

The home is located on Stocking Circle within the mobile home park.

A married couple, Dee Washington and Maurice Kaufman, live in the home with their three children, ages six years, five years and seven months.

The American Red Cross is finding a temporary home for the displaced family.

Fire officials say the blaze was caused by a child playing with a lighter. No one was injured.
