Virginia Republicans are seeking an accounting of Gov. Tim Kaine's travels and public expenses as chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

Its about time someone finally poked their nose into this business. Our elected officials need accountability in matters such as this. Additionally, when an elected official quits his elected office, he/she should be stripped of all benefits/perks normally provided to those who do what they were elected to do. This means we should not pay their retirement, protection and should not recieve any benefits other than what they have paid into a state retirement. If you quit, you should lose. Period!
