One Valley agency is offering free fresh food from farmer's markets for seniors who qualify.

The Valley Program for Aging Services is giving away $40 coupons to needy seniors. The coupons can be used at the farmer's markets in Staunton, Verona and Waynesboro.

To qualify for the program, residents must be at least 60 years old, live in Staunton, Waynesboro or Augusta County, and have a monthly income of less than $1,670 for singles, and less than $2,248 for couples.

Residents can pick up the coupons at the following times and places:

June 23 and 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Staunton Senior Center
1313 Barterbrook Road

June 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Waynesboro Senior Center
325 Pine Avenue
