The man charged in an Augusta County murder case is facing a new charge, but it's not one associated with the murder.
Jail officials say Timothy Aaron Wilkins was making demands to guards, but he didn't get what he wanted.
So, in retaliation, he allegedly reached up and busted the sprinkler in his cell, which released water that flows at a rate of 300 pounds of pressure per second. It flooded his cell and surrounding cells as well.
He was arraigned Tuesday on a felony charge of destroying a fire protection system.
Wilkins is in jail charged with the strangling death of Misty Phillips, whose body was found in the back of his car.
He has a preliminary hearing on that case scheduled for September.

they need to keep in jail . never let him lock up key and throw it away....
I hope he keeps causing trouble at the jail. Maybe then he'll be one murderer the judge will give what he deserves. You can look at the eyes of a man like that a tell that he has no place in society.
300 pounds per second? I don't think so...
