A Winchester woman is one of 48 people who will be competing for the National Monopoly Championship later this month.
Marsha Miller will take part in the tournament, which will be played on a chartered train from Chicago to Atlantic City. The final competition will take place in the New Jersey resort city.
The championship is held every four years and this year's winner will represent the United States in the 2004 World Monopoly Championship. That person will also get a cash prize of more than $15,000.
To qualify for the tournament, players had to have competed in a previous national championship or scored 90-percent or higher on a Monopoly quiz which tests a players game-playing savvy and knowledge of Monopoly lore.
