An investigator says notes found in the apartment of serial killer suspect Richard Marc Evonitz indicate that he had stalked two Culpeper County girls.

The girls told the Culpeper Star-Exponent that they were never approached by Evonitz and were shocked to learn about the notes.

Seventeen-year-old Laurel Thomas calls it "scary."

The 38-year-old Evonitz killled himself when cornered by Florida police on June 27, after a 15-year-old girl reported that he had abducted and raped her before she escaped.

Evidence found in his apartment in Columbia, South Carolina has linked Evonitz to the abductions and murders of three Spotsylvania

County girls in 1996 and 1997. Richland County, South Carolina Sheriff Leon Lott said notes in Evonitz's apartment listed the Thomas family's address and an apparent description of Laurel.

Another note provided directions to the home of 16-year-old Katherine Howard.
