A Kanawha County woman accused of killing her estranged husband at a hospital has been indicted on a first-degree murder charge.

The county grand jury charged 53-year-old Rhonda Kay Stewart of Elkview Tuesday.

Police say she entered Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital June 13 and shot 56-year-old Sammy Stewart as he lay in the intensive care unit.
