Some new information has been released concerning two Weyers Cave boys who were injured Monday when a fireplace fell on them.
Rescue workers say Luke Yoder suffered critical head injuries, and his cousin, Carson, broke his leg.
A family blog currently says that seven-year-old Luke is recovering slowly but is in a "medically induced unconsciousness."
The blog says, when he was air-lifted to the University of Virginia Medical Center Monday, doctors said Luke had no brain function.
However, the blog says that Luke is moving and seems to be improving, especially since the swelling in his head did not become as severe as doctors feared it would.
Also on the blog, Carson broke both lower bones in his left leg and will be in a cast.
Thursday morning, a new post says, "We sincerely appreciate the prayers that have been pouring in across the country for Luke. They are clearly working."
Doctors say they are concerned about some damage to ligaments in Luke's neck, but they are not sure at this time what that damage may mean for his recovery.
