The case against a man accused of killing his own brother is moving on to the trial phase.

Justin Shane Slater was indicted Thursday on a charge of capital murder. His trial date has been scheduled for December 2.

The 24 year old is charged in the death of Gregory Slater Jr. who was found dead of a gunshot wound in Frederick County last month.

Justin was arrested two days later in Hardy County, West Virginia.

Frederick County search warrants say he has confessed to killing his ex-girlfriend, Kayleigh Plamondon, and taking her body to a home in Hardy County that his parents used to own.

Justin has not yet been charged with Plamondon's death.

This is such a tragedy for all involved. Kayleigh was so beautiful and just starting out in life. She really 'lived the life she loved' Everyone who was touched by Kayleigh is devastated and will never be the same. I still can't believe she's gone. I know her Mom and sisters died a little too when she was taken. I hope they find that Pi is totally crazy, otherwise, how do you explain something like this?
