Landowner Offers Land for VA Wal-Mart, But is Turned Down
LOCUST GROVE, Va. (AP)
Wal-Mart has turned thumbs down to an offer from a landowner who said he has 2,000 acres farther away from a Civil War battlefield where the retailer hopes to build a Supercenter.
