A Broadway man will spend six months in jail for leaving the scene of a fatal car accident.
Police say last January, Theodore Hulse was racing another vehicle along Route 42 when the other car crashed, killing its driver. In August, Hulse pleaded guilty to fleeing the scene of the crash.
On Monday, Hulse was sentenced to 10 years in jail, with all but six months of the sentence suspended. Hulse also received three years of supervised probation.
