Officials Still Seeking Suspect in 2008 White Post Murder

Police are still looking for a man they believe shot and killed another man last year in White Post.

Police are still looking for a man they believe shot and killed another man last year in White Post.

Clarke County Sheriff's deputies and FBI agents are teaming up to find Jose Cuevas-Gonzalez.

He was indicted in the July 2008 murder of Juan Francisco-Cortes.

Deputies say Cuevas-Gonzalez shot and killed Francisco-Cortes and shot and injured another man at a White Post residence.

Clarke County Sheriff Tony Roper says investigators are actively tracking down leads.

Officials say Cuevas-Gonzalez is an illegal immigrant and they believe he may be in California.
