Residents to Vote on Meals Tax, Again
Rockingham County Voters in Rockingham County will get a second chance to vote on a meals tax this November.

Voters in Rockingham County will get a second chance to vote on a meals tax this November.
The county board of supervisors decided Wednesday night to put the item back on the ballot. The meals tax failed by a slim margin last November.
It would add a four-percent tax at restaurants in the county. It would not apply to restaurants within any town limits or within Harrisonburg city limits.
The money from the tax would help pay for school construction projects in the county.
