The brazen bank robber didn't bother to hide his face as he threatened tellers with a gun in at least ten heists from Kentucky to the Carolinas to Tennessee.

Now the FBI has named a suspect after a bank surveillance photo of a holdup was flashed on electronic billboards across the South.

FBI Agent Kevin Keithley says hundreds of calls and tips came in after the picture went up in eight states.

After a fruitless four-month search, the bureau's modern version of a wanted poster helped identify a suspect within 24 hours.

The FBI is now looking for 36-year-old Chad E. Schaffner as a suspect in the case. He's from the Indianapolis area and has been arrested before for bank robbery.
