Apology Offered

Controversy surrounding Daniel Lee Zirkle hasn't ended with his execution.

Zirkle's brother Gregory was recently charged with trespassing and violating a court order for visiting the gravesite of the two girls Daniel murdered in 1999.

A court order had been issued to keep all of Zirkle's family from visiting the site.

Wednesday, Gregory, his wife and kids issued an apology to the girls' family saying they never intended to hurt them.

He said he has been estranged from the rest of his family and did not know of the court order.

Zirkle says if they had known they would have honored it.

He finished by saying they "are truly and terribly sorry about the misunderstanding and apologize that we hurt Barbara and her family."
