A California animal advocacy group claims to have undercover video taken at the Page County cockfighting pit once known as Little Boxwood.
Last Chance for Animals says the video was shot in 2006 at Little Boxwood by an investigator working undercover. The investigator claims to have seen illegal gambling and animal cruelty while at the now-defunct Stanley club.
LCA says it worked with the FBI and local authorities to bring down Little Boxwood and implicate former Page County Sheriff Daniel Presgraves.
"Our undercover operative made 39 trips to the pit," says Bryan, who could not give his full name because of his work as a secret investigator. "The FBI was able to get various members out there to describe how to bribe Sheriff Presgraves."
The animal rights group says the Little Boxwood club was around Page County for 70 years.

Sounds like this Bryan guy needs to be chagred with a few of counts of Class 6 felonies. (§ 3.2-6571. Animal fighting penalty). He did admit in a news paper interview that he attended a few of the events at Little Boxwood BEFORE he went to the feds with some information.
Come on guys stop beating a dead horse. Why you keep showing the same thing day after day it is history. Isn' there any other news in the valley you can report on. Same goes for the DNR!
I'm surprised the HSUS didn't try to take credit for this. Great job LCA!
