The Harrisonburg Children's Museum got a big boost this week. The organization got a $20,000 donation from AIG Baker.
The money will eventually help the group get its own building. All summer the Museum's been setting up exhibits at different locations around the city showing the community what the program has to offer children.
"This program was meant to market out concept to the public and to find out the interest and obviously there was interest because we had at lease 900 children sign up for the program," says the museum's co-founder Lisa Shull.
The group says the ideal location for the building would be in downtown Harrisonburg. If you want to take your child to one of the upcoming exhibits call (540) 437-1010.
