A man charged in what's being called the Valley's largest car theft ring has been sentenced to six years in prison for his crimes.

Royce Lee Miller pleaded guilty to more than 49 charges, most of which were felonies.

In the Augusta County Circuit Court, the judge sentenced him to 20 years in prison with 14 suspended, for charges in the county. Miller also faces charges and possible prison sentences in other jurisdictions.

Police say Miller was one of two people behind the ring. Travis Lam also faces 45 felony charges.

During an investigation that lasted almost a year, police say they recovered 16 stolen vehicles worth more than $182,000.

The two men are also charged with stealing more than $36,000 worth of catalytic converters from Staunton Hyundai on two separate occasions.

Its a shame taxpayers are going to foot the bill for this guy for the next six years. Jail is not the answer. They should cut his hands off.

A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
