A Waynesboro grand jury indicted a man Monday for what city police call the largest psychedelic mushroom bust in the city's history.
Thirty-one-year-old Felix Christopher Gutierrez was arrested in July on a charge of possession with intent to manufacture mushrooms.
Police seized 107 mason jars containing several mushroom each from a home in the Parkway Court Apartment Complex on New Hope Road.
They say they also found one bedroom in the apartment that was being used exclusively to grow mushrooms with pots, soil, thermostats and scales.
A plea hearing has been scheduled for November 18.
