WV Residents Invited to Program on H1N1 Symptoms
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) Eastern Panhandle residents can learn about the H1N1 influenza virus, also known as swine flu, and its symptoms at a free mini-medical school program.

Eastern Panhandle residents can learn about the H1N1 influenza virus, also known as swine flu, and its symptoms at a free mini-medical school program.
The October 6 program will be held at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center on the City Hospital campus in Martinsburg.
It's designed to help educate the public about preventing, recognizing and treating the virus.
The event is sponsored by the health sciences center and West Virginia University Hospitals-East.
Presenters include Dr. Diana Gaviria, medical director of the Berkeley County Health Department, and Dr. Robert Jones, medical director of the Jefferson County Health Department.
The lecture begins at 7 p.m., and reservations are recommended.
