A special neighborhood informational meeting on the Wal-Mart proposed for Waynesboro will be held tomorrow.

Due to numerous citizen requests, the Planning Commission has decided to hold a question and answer meeting tomorrow at 5:30 before the commission's regular meeting.

The informational meeting will focus on neighborhood concerns and will give Wal-Mart representatives and people from the community the opportunity to discuss the proposed project.

"This is an informal meeting and we will not be timing people," said Commission Chairman Bill Moulton. "We want people to be relaxed and air their concerns freely, we hope people will feel free to speak their monds."

The special meeting wi run from 5:30 until 7 PM. The regular Planning Commission meeting will follow at 7 PM. The meetings will be held at the Yancey Municipal Building.
