The Bridgewater bypass is back in V-DOT's six-year transportation plan.
Changes were made to the plan, which goes before the Commonwealth Transportation Board for approval Thursday.
The final version restores 13 projects that had been cut. The plan calls for starting preliminary work on a section of the Bridgewater Bypass.
One million dollars from the Covington truck route project will be used to start the bypass work.
The Bridgewater Bypass would take traffic north of Bridgewater around the town and out to I-81.
