Court officials are saying federal prosecuters filed a motion Friday to dismiss charges against Darrell Rice. Rice is accused in the murders of Julianne Williams and Laura Winans nearly 8 years ago in the Shenandoah National Park. An FBI analysis concluded two hairs found on different parts of the crime scene probably came from someone other than the victims or Rice. One government expert also recently concluded that DNA from stains on straps used to tie the women came from an unidentified man. The expert said that man was probably the killer.
