Gov. Tim Kaine says he does not believe there is any reason he would stop the execution of Washington, D.C.-area sniper John Allen Muhammad.

Muhammad is scheduled to be executed November 10 for the October 2002 killing spree that left ten dead in the nation's capitol, Virginia and Maryland.

Kaine said on his monthly radio show on WTOP that Muhammad's lawyers have yet to ask for clemency, but that he would review any petition from them. He said he knows of no credible claim of innocence or procedural error that would cause him to stop the execution.

A federal court has rejected Muhammad's arguments that prosecutors withheld critical evidence and that he should not have been allowed to act as his own attorney for a portion of his trial due to his mental illness.

A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
