A Greene County man was arrested Friday and charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography.

On August 7, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Commonwealth Drive in Standardsville.

Several computers and other electronics devices capable of storing child pornography were seized. After the computers were forensically examined, officials determined they did contain child pornography.

Twenty-six-year-old Trenton Ray Morris of Stanardsville was arrested October 2 on ten counts of possession of child porn. He was given a secure bond of $7,500 and transported to the Central Virginia Regional Jail.

The investigation was spearheaded by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the ICAC Task Force and the James Madison Police Department.

The investigation in ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
