Waynesboro police are calling it a classic case of animal cruelty. Police have arrested 39 year old Nancy Henderson and Otho Hite of Waynesboro. They are being charged with four counts of cruelty towards Animals. This after they found 3 dogs and 2 cats severely malnourished and kept in unbarable conditions last week. Police say one of the dogs had a collar embedded into its neck. The animals were turned over to the SPCA, but it was too late. All three dogs were put to sleep, along with one of the cats. If convicted, they could face a $2,500 fine and up to one year in jail.
