Virginia State Police are warning people about fictitious text messages regarding Amber Alerts.

Police say the messages, that have mostly targeted Roanoke and Lancaster counties, state an Amber Alert has been issued in Virginia.

However, no agencies are currently reporting or investigating and incidents that meet the criteria for an Amber Alert.

Click on the link below to see if any Amber Alerts have been issued in the Commonwealth.

Anyone with questions is asked to call Virginia State Police at 804-674-2030.

that is pathetic that some one would have nothing better to do than send out fake amber alerts thruout VA!..do people not know that this stuff is serious!! im telling you these police and cops have got to crack down on drug dealers and stuff and stop locking innocent people up for little things and lock all these othr REAL criminals and bad people up! its pathetic! especially PAGE COUNTY SHERRIFF'S!,...they wont do anything to lock criminals up when they have so much evidence on one person..but if it was an innocent person doing one little thing..its a different story! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!..cus messing with this amber alert system and crying wolf about a missing child..gets people thinking when they c a familiar child that has been reported "missing" if they are really reported missing or not and then there that child is kidnapped..lonely..homesick & maybe almost being killed!..DO SOMETHINGGG!

A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
