The Virginia Regional transit authority is partnering with Page County to bring Bus Service to the area.
One bus will run five days a week, alternating between the towns of Luray, Stanley, and Shenandoah.
The bus will also take riders to the Family Dollar distribution center in Front Royal each day.
Officials say it's a huge step for the area.
"We hope that the citizens will utilize it and become familiar with it. The fee is low, that way they will be able to spend more money in Page County," says Lori Nealis, Director of the Luray/Page County Chamber of Commerce.
The service is funded by grants from the state and federal government.
Rides on the bus will cost 50 cents per trip.
Officials hope to have the service up and running by March 1.
