Police are investigating a head-on collision that killed a Wyoming County middle school coach.
Wyoming County Sheriff Randall Aliff says 31-year-old Stacy McLamb of Mullens was driving on State Route 10 when another vehicle crossed the center line and hit the coach's vehicle head-on. The accident occurred Tuesday morning.
Aliff says McLamb was pronounced dead at a Beckley hospital.
McLamb was an assistant coach for the Wyoming East seventh- and eighth-grade football team. He coached Mullens Middle School's fifth- and sixth-grade girls basketball team last year.
