The Reading Road Show rolled into Harrisonburg Friday with a stop at the Chidren's Museum.
The bus makes stops at daycare centers in Rockingham County and encourages pre-school kids to read. It also focuses on communities where a library isn't close and they even have books in Spanish. "So we are providing children with good quality children’s literature that they get to take home for a week and spend time reading with their parents, have parents share books with them," said Pat Kennedy, the Reading Road Show Coordinator.
