The band, Metallica is adding $50,000 to the reward fund of a student that went missing at one of its concerts.

The band, Metallica is adding $50,000 to the reward fund of a student that went missing at one of its concerts.

According to reports, band members phoned Morgan Harrington's father Friday night to tell him about their offer.

Harrington, a Virginia Tech student, vanished while attending a Metallica concert in Charlottesville a week ago.

This news comes the day after a sighting of Harrington at a Charlottesville motel turned out to be a false alarm.

I'm not sure why but this has the ring of the Showalter girl abduction. That person was never found as I recall. The similarities the of Route 29 area are troublesome.
