Police have been following leads for the past eleven days, doing all they can to find Morgan Harrington, who has been missing since October 17.

Holding on to hope, the Harringtons are doing all they can to bring their daughter back.

They say, "It's a parent's worst nightmare. You expect your child to walk through the door when they're due home. When they don't, you know something's wrong."

Gil and Dan Harrington have kept a level head for a week and a half, as they search for their daughter.

Gil says, "Morgan is very strong, and you never know how strong you are until you're forced to dig for it."

Dan says, "Before she left here, she said, 'Dad, you're going to be home tomorrow afternoon because I need some help preparing for a math exam.'"

"I've had many good-byes, I don't take good-byes lightly. I always walked her to the car and she gets in the car, and as she's pulling out, she's always flashing those fingers at me: 2, 4, 1. That's the last thing she said to me. It's just our little code. 'I love you too much forever and once more than forever,'" says Gil.

Morgan is described as a free spirit; eccentric and energetic. She has posters of "Black Sabbath" and "The Beatles" hanging in her room.

Outside their home, different posters are now hanging that show Morgan's face. Officials hope the posters will produce leads to her whereabouts, especially since she has been missing for almost two weeks.

Morgan's parents are supporting each other through this tough time. They are asking for the public's help to find their child.

"You want your children to fly and to go to Metallica concerts and to enjoy everything that's great about this world," says Gil.

She says she wants Morgan to be strong.

Gil says, "We're trying to get to you and bring you back home, baby."

The Harringtons are offering a six-figure reward to anyone who can offer any clues that lead to finding Morgan. Metallica has also contributed a substantial amount of money to the reward.

Anyone with information on Morgan's whereabouts is urged to call Virginia State Police at (434) 352- 3467.

WHSV Poll
A committee in the House of Delegates has sent a bill to the House floor that would allow private, faith-based adoption agencies to discriminate against prospective parents based on their sexual orientation. Would you support this?

Yes, I think if it is a private organization it's okay.
No, there should be no discrimination.
It should depend on a case by case basis.
